1. Introduction
Auline ("we", "our" or "us") places great importance on protecting the privacy of its users ("you" or "user"). This
Privacy Policy describes the types of data we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to ensure its
protection.
2. Data collected
2.1. No data collected by us
Voice It has no server of its own and no user account. We do not collect, receive or store any data about you: no
account, no email address, no identifier, no usage statistics, no analytics and no crash reports.
2.2. Audio recordings
When you use Voice It to transcribe your voice, the app sends your audio directly from your Mac to Mistral AI's
servers located in Europe, using your own Mistral API key and under your own Mistral account. The audio never passes
through any server of ours. It is processed in real-time and is not retained afterwards. If you cancel a recording,
the audio is discarded before being sent.
2.3. Your API key
Your Mistral API key is stored locally on your Mac and is only ever sent to Mistral's API. We never see it.
3. Data processing location
All audio processing is performed by Mistral AI, a French company, on servers located in the European Union. This
ensures full GDPR compliance and that your voice data stays in Europe.
4. Data sharing
The app sends your audio to Mistral AI solely for the purpose of transcription, under your own Mistral account.
Mistral AI processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and GDPR requirements. No data is shared with
us or with any other third party.
5. Data security
All communications between the app and Mistral's API are encrypted using TLS. Your API key is kept locally on your
Mac. Since we operate no server and hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to breach.
6. Your rights
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing on our side to access, rectify or erase. For the audio you
send to Mistral AI under your own account, your rights are exercised directly with Mistral. In accordance with GDPR,
those rights are:
- Right of access: You can request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your personal data.

Right to restriction of processing: You can request limitation of data processing in certain circumstances.
- Right to object: You can object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons.

7. Consent
By using the application, you consent to the processing of your audio as described in this Privacy Policy. You can
stop all processing at any time by removing your API key or uninstalling the application.
8. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with the
corresponding update date. We encourage you to regularly check this page to stay informed of any changes.
