1. Introduction
Auline ("we", "our" or "us") places great importance on protecting the privacy of its users ("you" or "user"). This
Privacy Policy describes the types of data we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to ensure its
protection.
2. Data collected
2.1. Audio recordings
When you use Voice It to transcribe your voice, your audio is sent to Mistral AI's servers located in Europe for
transcription. Audio data is processed in real-time and is not stored by us or Mistral AI after processing. We do
not retain any recordings of your voice.
2.2. Account and authentication data
When you sign in with Apple, we collect and store only your user identifier on our servers. This identifier is used
to link your subscription status to your account. We do not collect your email address, name, or any other personal
information from your Apple account.
2.3. Usage data
We collect anonymous usage statistics such as the number of transcriptions performed. This data does not allow
personal identification and is used solely to improve the application and enforce usage limits.
2.4. Diagnostic data
Errors and crashes are collected to identify and fix problems. None of this data allows personal identification.
3. Data processing location
All audio processing is performed by Mistral AI, a French company, on servers located in the European Union. This
ensures full GDPR compliance and that your voice data stays in Europe.
4. Data sharing
We share your audio data with Mistral AI solely for the purpose of transcription. Mistral AI processes this data in
accordance with their privacy policy and GDPR requirements. We do not share any personal data with other third
parties.
5. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized
access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All communications between the app and our servers are encrypted
using TLS.
6. Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: You can request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your personal data.
